Job SummaryAn exciting opportunity for Band 5 Registered Nurses to join an experienced team caring for both Trauma and Orthopaedic patients within the Acute Surgical Division. The role is part of the dedicated Trauma Network at Prince Charles Hospital and requires dedicated, hardworking individuals capable of working in a pressurised and ever‑evolving environment.
Main Duties- Contribute to a 24‑hour a day, 7‑day a week provision of emergency care by supporting the nursing and medical team.
- Undertake specific interventions for patients according to guidelines, policies and procedures, as instructed by members of the medical or nursing team.
- Work unsupervised to established standard operating procedures; supervision is available when required.
- Adhere to Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB Policies and Procedures.
Welsh is desirable but not essential. Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above are advantageous. No fluency is required.

Shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements.
Person Specification Essential Experience- Trauma & Orthopaedic (T&O) experience
- Surgical experience
- Full UK NMC Registration
- Previous qualifications relevant to the role
- Welsh Language Skills (Level 3 and above/B2) are desirable for this role.
