Position: Senior Residential Support Worker (Permanent)
Senior Residential Support Worker | Merthyr Tydfil | Full Time | Salary circa £35,000 (inclusive) + Paid Overtime + Pension + Gym Membership

What will your role look like?

Organising and managing shifts to ensure the safety of children, young people, and staff
Developing, reviewing, and implementing individual care and pathway plans
Attending and contributing to meetings such as CLA reviews, education planning and discussions with social workers
Building positive relationships with young people’s families
Providing day-to-day care, including meal preparation, supervision, laundry, cleaning, and social activities
Maintaining accurate records and reports for key young people
Mentoring new staff and promoting the ethos of the home
Acting as a positive role model at all times
What can you expect in return?

Competitive salary circa £35,000 (inclusive)
Paid overtime at 125% of the contracted hourly rate
Overtime bonus of £100 for every 50 hours completed
£50 per night sleep allowance when required
224 hours annual leave (28 days)
Rolling rota (2 days on, 4 days off)

Are you the right person for the job?

You will hold QCF Level 3 Children and Young People and have experience working in a children’s residential setting. A full UK driver’s licence is required.
