Position: Cover Supervisor (Temporary)
Teacher Active is delighted to collaborate with a broad network of secondary schools across Abertillery. We are currently seeking Cover Supervisors in Merthyr Tydfil to provide reliable, high-quality support to our partner schools.

About the Role

Cover Supervisors play a vital role in maintaining the smooth running of schools, whether on a temporary, long-term, or permanent basis. Although the role does not involve lesson planning or preparation, excellent communication and effective classroom management skills are essential to ensure a positive learning environment.

Key Requirements

Possession of a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
Confidence in managing classes of students aged 11 to 16+
Ability to foster positive behaviour and sustain pupil engagement within the classroom
Flexibility to work across different departments and with various age groups on a daily basis
