Blue Origin Position Summary

• Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures.
• Setup new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
• Assist with transition from development to production, including first articles.
• Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and/or maintenance.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
• Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck‑trailer combinations and other ground support equipment as required.
• Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including, but not limited to, torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges and optical measuring instruments.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean‑up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD.
• Ability to work off‑shift, extended overtime, and weekends if/when vital.
• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

• 4+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, integration, or another relevant field.
• Experience in at least one of the following is required: fluids and tubing install, instrumentation and electrical harness routing, general Aerospace/Launch vehicle assembly.
• Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, written work instructions and test procedures.
• Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds.
• Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person.
• Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
• Work at Heights on work stands and in lifts.
• Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
