Shift: C Shift, Friday – Sunday, 5 AM – 5:30 PM (additional shifts available)

Summary:

As part of the structures team, you will be involved in precise drilling and assembly using both manual and power‑feed drills and specialized large‑scale structural assembly. Your expertise will include working with metallic and composite materials, performing detailed processes such as drilling, deburring, and assembling large components. You will also be responsible for surface preparation, fixturing, and alignment of structural parts, ensuring theyversed meet stringent specifications, and maintaining fabrication methods and specification requirements.

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, structures or other related fields.
• Basic use of hand tools and drills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
• Experience with precision calibration tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, conicals, laser trackers, and optical measuring instruments.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and be comfortable working at heights (work stands, ladders, lifts) and/or in confined spaces.
• Expertise in adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.
• Proficiency in digital tools includingകട Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted refugee or granted asylum.

• Knowledge of precision assembly processes and handling large aerospace components.
• Strong technical and leadership skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in teams.
• Continuous improvement mindset and curiosity for optimizing processes, driving innovation.
• Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
• Willingness to work overtime.

• Configure new production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize any potential delays during the transition to high‑rate manufacturing.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cranes, etc.) and precision calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
• Drill precision holes to tight tolerance.
• Install structural fasteners.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and test payload systems and hardware by applying materials, painting, sealing, composite lay‑up, repairs, testing, and assisting with vehicle assembly and installation.
• Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission.
