Technician Integration - NG | B Shift | All Levels (Evergreen)

Shift: Monday – Thursday (5:00am – 3:30pm)

Location: Space Coast, FL

Blue Origin is on a mission to create a future where millions of people live and work in space. This role is part of the Operations team, supporting Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance across all Blue Origin facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage Booster according to written procedures.
  • Configure production work areas with the necessary tooling and equipment to ensure efficient workflow and minimize potential delays during the transition to high‑rate manufacturing.
  • Operate precision‑calibrated tools (torque wrenches, micrometers, etc.) to maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Identify and implement continuous‑improvement projects for safety and efficiency, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Drive the transition from development to production by proactively troubleshooting and maintaining equipment as needed.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S principles to promote safety and operational efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with aerospace manufacturing, integration, or a related field (0‑3 years Level I Technician, 3+ years Level II Technician, 5+ years Level III Technician, 8+ years Senior Level Technician).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Experience with precision calibration tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, and optical measuring instruments.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, or on work stands, ladders, and lifts.
  • Expertise in adhesives, sealants, and thermal blankets.
  • Proficiency in digital tools, including Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted U.S. refugee or asylum seeker.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Industry certification, trade school training, and/or a degree in a related field.
  • Experience with cryogenic systems, fluid assembly, and aerospace/launch vehicle assembly.
  • Knowledge of precision assembly processes and handling large aerospace components.
  • Strong technical and leadership skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams.
  • Continuous‑improvement mindset and curiosity for optimizing processes.
  • Experience working on aerospace payloads, fairings, and capsules.
  • Experience with large out‑of‑autoclave curing and production control systems.
  • Willingness to work overtime.
