Job Description
Electrical Assembler II to perform a wide variety of tasks in a large yacht manufacturing facility. Tasks include advanced electrical work on the line, panel wiring, and troubleshooting.
SummaryElectrical Assembler II at Brunswick’s Integrated Manufacturing Center (BIMC) in Merritt Island, Florida, supporting Sea Ray, Boston Whaler and other Brunswick boat brands. The role centralizes Brunswick’s vertical integration capabilities to deliver efficient, cost‑effective capacity and productivity planning to the boat brands.
Responsibilities- Perform advanced electrical work on the line such as motor wiring, dash wiring, etc.
- MDP panel wiring and troubleshooting typically performed at the front of the line in the last assembly phase for large boats.
- High school education and more in depth electrical training, or two to four years of electrical experience.
- Ability to read and understand production schedules, job descriptions and prints.
- Ability to use basic hand tools.
- Working knowledge of procedures, instructions and documents related to the quality system.
- Desire and ambition to work safely at all times and report hazards to supervisor immediately.
- Understanding of basic terminology such as OSHA, DEP and other regulatory agencies.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
- Completion of OSHA questionnaire, spirometer test and ability to wear a respirator where required.
- Physical capability to lift, bend, climb stairs, stand and perform other job requirements.
- Understanding of all safety related documents and worksite rules and practices, equipment operating instructions, documented safety management systems and health and safety requirements, including the General Safety Rules and Individual Safety Commitment.
The anticipated pay range is $20.60 to $25.05 per hour, depending on qualifications and business context.
