The opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a Guest Operations Manager to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island, Florida.
In this role, you will oversee guest-facing operations including the visitor center, special events, and theme park activities. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, managing rides and attractions, and ensuring efficient operational flow. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional guest service skills and strong problem‑solving abilities to thrive in this fast‑paced environment.
PayMinimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $56,900 - $76,800 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range.

- Oversee day to day operations assigned in various areas including the visitor complex and tour stops
- Complete all necessary reports and forms for summary of daily activities
- Work closely with scheduling department on daily basis to ensure proper staffing
- Establish contact with government subcontract agencies to obtain restrictions for road blocks
- Work closely with the union to ensure the collective bargaining agreement is met with compliance
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a management role in guest operations management or hospitality management
- Experience managing hours and timekeeping
- Computer experience with word and excel mandatory
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and bending
- Occasional exposure to varying temperatures and conditions
