Overview
The NHC Home Care Merritt Island team invites a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care to patients in the home under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The hourly pay ranges from $14 to $16.
ResponsibilitiesUnder RN supervision, the HHA performs assigned personal care functions to support patient independence and wellness.
Qualifications- Successful completion of a Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program meeting 42 CFR 484.80 standards, including at least 75 hours of training with 16 clinical hours.
- Current state certification: a Florida vocational diploma, proof of graduation from an accredited nursing school, or a Florida CNA certificate.
- Documentation of training from another state or a home health agency, with verified course completion.
