Position: Activities Assistant
Facility: Space Coast Healthcare & Rehabilitation
Location: Merritt Island, Florida
Shift: Full-Time | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Salary: $17/hour

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational programs such as games, arts & crafts, music, and social events.
• Conduct interviews with residents and families to tailor activities to their interests and abilities.
• Promote residents’ social, emotional, and physical well-being through inclusive programming.
• Encourage and motivate participation, ensuring every resident feels valued and involved.
• Provide individualized attention through one-on-one visits.
• Manage activity supplies, including setup and cleanup.
• Track and document participation and gather feedback to improve programs.

• Energetic, creative, and compassionate personality with a genuine passion for elder care.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Experience with geriatric or adult populations preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to adapt to residents’ needs.
