FS Java, Boot, Rest APIs

Overview

Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a FS Java, Spring Boot, Rest APIs.

• Support delivery of prioritized business initiatives and capabilities enhancements through end-to-end solution design and development
• Working closely with architecture team in terms of implementing and adhering to best practices and standards
• Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with technology partners
• Develop technical and technology partner facing documentation
• Actively participating in activities like innovation days, code, and design reviews, exploring emerging technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• 7+ years of software development experience, involving Java and Spring technologies
• Hands‑on experience with GenAI‑powered development assist tools (e.g., Git Hub Copilot, Google Gemini, Amazon Q, or similar AI coding assistants)
• Experience with Container Platforms (Docker), Cloud Computing (AWS) and EKS (Cloud Formation, EC2, S3, SNS, Lambda, IAM Roles, KMS, Cloud Watch)
• Experience with Database/RDBMS, Data Warehouse (Snowflake)
• Expertise with Spring Frameworks, preferably Spring 4 and Spring Boot
• Expertise with RESTful API design and development
• Full‑stack software development knowledge with the following technologies/tools:
  Eclipse, Core JAVA, J2EE, JDK 15 or above, Angular, Python, FastAPI/Flask, UNIX, Linux, Spring (MVC, Boot), Jenkins, Git Hub, JIRA, Datadog, Artifactory, Maven, Sonar Qube, JUnit, Mockito, Karate, and Confluence
• Familiarity with mainstream testing tools (e.g. Cucumber, Karate)
• Basic knowledge of security practices - cryptography, key management, and application security
• Experience with developing applications in a serverless architecture a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
