Fidelity Investments Workplace Solutions (WS) organization is looking for a Senior Software Quality Engineer specializing in quality engineering to join our reporting team within Stock Plan Services (SPS) Technology. The focus is on taking our market‑leading equity compensation platform to a global market.
TeamYou will be working with a team of technologists focused on delivering Automation, Continuous Integration, and Test Data ecosystems. This role demands significant collaboration with members of various business and IT groups throughout the lifecycle of a typical project. As a technical associate, you will shape our technology vision and have a real impact on our Workplace Solutions organization’s success.
Expertise You Have- 6+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
- Strong working knowledge of Relational Databases like Oracle or Postgres.
- Experience with PL/SQL, ETL and complex queries, views, packages, etc.
- Expertise in Java, Karate and/or Cucumber.
- Experience in Type Script/JavaScript and Playwright.
- Expert knowledge in test automation frameworks and a passion for coding excellence.
- Experience working on testing framework for UI projects (e.g., Playwright).
- Experience with UI and Microservices Architecture, RESTful APIs, Enterprise messaging like Active
MQ, Kafka. - Experience with Dev Ops, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools.
- Experience with Git Hub Copilot to support quality engineering practices is nice to have.
- Experience executing projects in an Agile environment.
- Ability to collaborate with other technical and business experts in the team.
- Curiosity to stay current with new and emerging technologies and concepts, finding ways to apply them to business problems.
- Passion for modern test‑driven and automation‑driven software development methodologies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated tests while adopting industry best practices and tools.
- Keeping the focus on customer obsession.
- Embracing continuous improvement regarding application quality and stability.
- Strong sense of ownership for the quality of solution delivery.
- Being candid and honest in all discussions to ensure the best outcomes.
