The Sales Associate role supports the store’s success and efficiency by upholding Coach’s Service and Selling Models, delivering a positive first impression, building ongoing customer relationships through a personalized experience, and leaving a positive, lasting impression.

• Sales Floor: align decisions with company priorities; own and deliver results; develop personal sales and clienteling strategies with management; create short- and long-term plans to meet personal metrics; represent Coach as a brand ambassador; demonstrate selling and service expectations; adapt to local market changes and support local sales strategies; drive business through sales strategies and clienteling; build credibility as a personal fashion advisor with knowledge of competition;
  
  provide in-depth product knowledge and communicate pricing and promotions; leverage cross-selling and add-ons; tailor approach to customers; attend to individual shopping needs; manage multiple customers, follow up to influence/close sales; contribute to store financial results; use tools to support relationship building; promote team selling; foster teamwork and adaptability; be solution-oriented and receptive to feedback; maintain a calm, professional demeanor.

• Operations: complete daily tasks without compromising service or standards; maintain store, cash wrap, and visual merchandising to Coach standards; keep selling floor clean and organized; adhere to retail policies and procedures including POS, operations, and asset protection; replenish inventory on the sales floor.

• Additional Responsibilities: support store inventory processes, assist with shipments, restock shelves, and maintain organization in stockroom and on floor; support cash-wrap for purchases, returns, and exchanges; efficiently process transactions; maintain store readiness and visual merchandising; drive for results and customer focus; demonstrate creativity and interpersonal savvy; learn quickly, adapt to change, and handle ambiguity; pursue continuous improvement and maintain persistence and resilience.

• Experience: 1–3 years of previous sales experience, preferably in a luxury retail service environment; knowledge of fashion trends and marketplace competition.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Technical: Knowledge of cash register systems, basic computer skills (including iPad/laptop, Mobile POS, Internet), ability to use walkie talkie, read price and product release sheets.
• Physical: Ability to work at a fast pace; effective communication with customers and team; ability to maneuver on the sales floor, shelves, and stockroom; required bending, kneeling, climbing; ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds for product shipment/ transfers.
• Schedule: Ability to meet Coach scheduling and availability expectations, including flexible schedules, nights, weekends, and holidays with high retail traffic.

BASE PAY RANGE: $15.00 to $17.25 per hour. Tapestry complies with minimum wage requirements and applicable pay laws based on location.
