Data Analyst, Data Engineer
Hybrid Onsite 5 days/week, alternating weeks in Merrimack, NH
Our client provides integrated workplace services to organizations across the country, including defined contribution and defined benefit administration, health and welfare, human resources, and payroll services. The organization supports more than 10 million employees for nearly 24,000 clients and delivers recordkeeping, data management, benefit calculations, event processing, disbursements, and post-retirement services. Core offerings enable employees to manage retirement plans and access educational support for retirement planning.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Coach, mentor, and develop associates while remaining hands-on with data modeling and architecture.
- Guide a team of data modelers working within autonomous squads across product areas.
- Establish and improve data modeling and database design standards and practices.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable, flexible, and detailed data models that improve product offerings and speed time to market.
- Partner with project teams, vendors, support organizations, architects, and technical resources to gather information requirements and deliver data modeling solutions.
- Drive adoption of enterprise standards and promote process, standards, or technology changes when necessary.
- Improve analysis of business requirements to deliver well-architected and efficient designs.
- Assist in developing guidelines and standards for design checklists, governance processes, and cataloging and maintaining data repositories.
- Provide industry thought leadership to technology teams.
- Strong data modeling expertise across conceptual, logical, physical, 3NF, and dimensional models at project and enterprise levels.
- Dimensional modeling experience with conformed dimensions across business units.
- Proficiency with data modeling tools such as Power Designer, Oracle Designer, or ERwin.
- Hands-on collaboration with data engineering and data analytics teams.
- Ability to write SQL to query data, ideally ANSI SQL.
- General working knowledge of AI technologies, techniques, and trends.
- Strong analytic skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to explain data structures to a non-technical audience.
- Effective interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
