Description:

Implements process improvements within Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) environments (Agile). Accelerates overall team performance, efficiency, and value delivered according to data metrics and system design requirements using technical project management and collaboration tools (Jira, Mural, and MS Teams). Removes system impediments and accelerating value delivery by leveraging the Agile framework and its corresponding Scrum practices -- daily stand up, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.

Leverages software artifacts to describe the function, design, and architecture of products. Advises and mentors teams and individuals across various functions on Agile values, practices, and processes (Kanban).

Primary Responsibilities:

* Generates software solutions to address challenges and roadblocks.
* Maintains and updates technical performance metrics (burn-down charts) to ensure accurate and clear feedback.
* Improves the technical interdependencies across squads and tribes through software release management coordination and scaling ceremonies/activities.
* Organizes and presents technical ideas and information concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of software products.
* Confers with systems analysts and other software engineers/developers to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces.
* Develops and oversees software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) creating software solutions to complex problems in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Product Management (or closely related occupation) creating software solutions to complex problems in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:
* Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) collaborating on Quarterly Planning for a multi-team initiative to create roadmaps, objectives, capacity planning, quality control, progress tracking and reporting, and release management plans, using Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Miro, and Service Now.
* DE providing production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis, performing quality assurance database testing, and running complex queries to data mine and validate complex financial calculations and analytics in a prime brokerage environment, using SQL Developer and Putty.
* DE maintaining product and sprint backlogs, refining epics and stories, and story mapping, using JIRA, Confluence, and Miro; performing functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of stories, using XRAY and HP Quality Center; and performing data validation and bug resolution using SQL.
* DE advising program leadership on forecasts and progress on program deliverables, using data from Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, and Service Now.#PE1M2#LI-DNI## ##
