Overview
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician based in Hobart, IN. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plant electronic equipment.
What you’ll do- Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient workplace by following 5S standards.
- Troubleshooting and repairing tubing mills, cut-to-length, slitting, forklifts, overhead cranes, and banding/packaging equipment.
- Align, adjust, and calibrate electronic equipment.
- Install electrical circuits following blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3-5 years of Electrical Maintenance experience.
- Extensive experience in industrial electronics, motors, interpreting schematics, power systems (AC and DC), and testing equipment; extensive knowledge on predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic standalone systems with minimum guidance.
- Basic level experience with programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Basic knowledge of best practices for bending and installing conduit.
- Medium level experience with power tools and electric/hydraulic benders.
- Flexibility to work 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts; availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as required.
- Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of electrical systems and machinery while referencing and interpreting control schematics.
- Provide assistance to Operations as needed; work effectively alone or with a team.
- Have working knowledge of all facility equipment.
- Actively complete PM tasks on all facility equipment.
- Be comfortable working in conditions which could be hot, cold, dirty, dusty, greasy, wet, and noisy.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $35.50/hr placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
