Cake Decorator

Position Summary

As a Cake Decorator you will drive member service in your area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.

• Be a Team Member:
  Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools and resources, develop interpersonal skills for customer service, stay flexible to business needs, maintain in‑stock levels and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert:
  Plan bakery production, ensure consistency and accuracy of decorative designs, follow recipe measurements, decorate products, and maintain food safety, sanitation, cold‑chain compliance and inventory management. Operate, maintain and sanitize equipment and exhibit layout execution.
• Be a Techie:
  Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering, training and quality.
• Be an Owner:
  Drive bakery area performance, uphold quality, control standards, reduce waste, prepare for seasonal events, meet member needs, assist with purchasing decisions and resolve concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador:
  Advocate for the brand, model high quality service, interact with associates to understand roadblocks and support training and inspiration in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement action plans with the Open Door Policy, and apply values in all business processes.

Hourly wage: $17.00/hr – $24.00/hr actual rate depends on skills and experience. Additional premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour may apply under specific conditions.

• 6 months experience in fresh production area.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to complete all required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period.

Cake Decorating experience.
