We’re seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 2 to help lead our civic-minded, pop culture-driven brand. You’ll support the Store Manager in achieving store objectives with regards to hitting sales targets, recruiting, and development. You’ll bring energy, leadership, and a customer-first mindset to drive sales and build lasting relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities- Support your Store Manager in achieving the sales plan and/or comparable sales goals.
- Help recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team to run your store alongside you.
- Engage customers and build buzz by promoting new products and leveraging channels such as social media, BOPIS, and curbside pickup.
- Provide leadership to run an operationally sound business with a balanced focus on operations, delegation/autonomy, and customer-first selling practices.
- Monitor shrink/loss prevention, payroll hours, and associate schedules.
- Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ partners on trends and customer feedback.
- Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit sales targets.
- Merchandise the store in a compelling way, using planograms as a guide and launching promotions on time.
- Develop a high-performing, customer-focused team in partnership with the Store Manager.
- At least 1–2 years of retail store management experience. Passion for philanthropy and pop culture preferred.
- Proven leadership with skills in communication, recruiting, operations (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising), and developing team members.
- Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and a drive to develop peers.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED required; a degree is a plus.
- Able to adapt to a fast-changing retail environment and handle curveballs.
- Physical ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation).
