Overview
The Regional Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance, operations, and strategic direction of multiple branches within a designated region. This role provides direct supervision to Branch and Operations Managers to ensure alignment with organizational goals,
regulatory and internal compliance requirements
, and service excellence. The Regional Manager drives business growth, member satisfaction, operational consistency, and staff development while ensuring adherence to all applicable federal and state regulations and credit union policies
. This position fosters a collaborative team culture and represents the credit union’s brand and vision in the community. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required, along with 5+ years of leadership experience in retail banking or credit union operations with multi-branch oversight. Candidates must demonstrate proven success in managing and developing high-performing teams, strong knowledge of branch operations, lending, member service,
regulatory compliance (including BSA/AML, consumer protection, and operational risk controls), and the ability to partner effectively with compliance and audit functions. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as a commitment to maintaining a strong culture of compliance and ethical conduct.
