Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall development and execution of a portfolio of metals industry projects (typically $1MM+) including profitability, quality, safety, client satisfaction, and alignment to scope, schedule, budget, and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

* Serve as the primary client contact and manage relationships with clients and outside consultants

* Lead execution of multiple steel/metals industry projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives are met

* Coordinate project delivery across disciplines and office locations

* Manage project financials including budgeting/forecasting, invoicing, and cash flow to ensure profitability

* Develop proposals, define scope/specifications, support contract negotiations, and manage change authorizations as needed

* Track project performance and provide regular client reporting on cost, schedule, and overall progress

* Support business development and client relationship growth in partnership with senior leadership

Qualifications

* BS in Engineering preferred

* PE license and/or PMP certification a plus

* Steel/Metals industry experience is REQUIRED

* 5 - 10 years of project management experience (consulting environment preferred)

* Experience leading complex heavy industrial or manufacturing projects

* Knowledge of project delivery models (A/E, AEPCM, Design-Build)

* May require occasional car or air travel to other company locations or client sites

* This position requires the candidate/employee to possess and maintain a valid driver's license in their state of residence and auto insurance coverage
