Lab Technician

Role Overview

Aspen Medical invites experienced Laboratory Technicians to partner in delivering high‑quality medical care within a secure, transitional setting. Lab Techs will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure competent, safe, and compassionate patient care.

• Medical Screening for new arrivals
• Comprehensive Screening
• Sick Call services
• 24‑Hour Emergency Medical and Mental Health Treatment
• Women’s Medical Care
• Additional EMS, diagnostic, laboratory, and ancillary services

• Full‑time training course (≈1 year) in a medical or clinical laboratory assistant/technician program or associate degree (2‑year program with 1‑year training) or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent) with instruction in chemistry, hematology, blood banking, and microbiology (including serology)
• Current, valid certification from American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Society of Clinical Pathology – Board of Certification (ASCP‑BOC)
• Current, valid American Heart Association certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current, valid license or registration from a U.S. state, District of Columbia, Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory (preferred)
• A minimum of one year of recent, relevant, related experience
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired but not required

• All Aspen Medical staff must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders; sponsorship will not be available.
