Marshfield Clinic - Merrill Center is seeking an Internal Medicine
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Merrill, Wisconsin
. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician, according to Nurse Practitioner Protocol, and within the scope of the Nurse Practitioner License in the State of Wisconsin.
In this role, you will join a busy practice with an experienced group. Our Merrill Center has a strong primary care presence in the community with a variety of outreach. Onsite radiology, lab collection, mobile mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and echo. You will take call once every three months on the weekend from home.
Position DetailsMonday - Friday; 8am - 5pm
Minimum at home rotating call requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONSFor Nurse Practitioners - Completion of a master's, postmaster's, or doctorate from an nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Current licensure by the applicable state board of nursing for advanced practice.
For Physician Assistants - Master's or Baccalaureate degree. Successful completion of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors. Successful completion of the national certifying examination and current certification given by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of hire.
Additional department-specific certifications, licenses, or memberships may be required (varies by department/location).
