Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Merchandising
Overview
Position:
Warehouse Associate with forklift operation and customer service responsibilities. Responsible for complying with company policies and standards while performing work processes and providing safe, efficient service across inventory, merchandising, and member/customer support activities.
- Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines to safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise and pallets.
- Receive, organize, and manage stock and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; maintain inventory flow and complete required paperwork and documentation.
- Provide member/service support by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift and hazardous materials procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation, including stocking, rotating, removing damaged goods, setting up displays, and monitoring promotional and seasonal materials.
- Process club pick up orders and assist with picking and staging, ensuring accurate timing and proper staging by Merchandising Associates.
- Handle inventory activities: track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage, and report poor practices or low stock.
- Use inventory tools and equipment safely; identify and address shrink opportunities and product/service issues.
- Identify technology needs for customers, assist with technology services, and model best practices for others.
- Demonstrate respect for individuals, foster teamwork and belonging, and act with integrity in line with company values; support continuous improvement and change management.
- Deliver customer-focused results, balancing short- and long-term priorities and considering team impact; strive for continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and skills.
Minimum Qualifications: 90 days of prior forklift experience; ability to safely use pallet jacks; must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications: Customer service experience, retail experience, supervising a team.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00 per hour. Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
