Overview
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining product knowledge, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
DescriptionPay Rate: $13.00 per Hour
Responsibilities- Possess adequate knowledge of the represented products.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer positively.
- Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all on‑line requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business needs. The description does not imply that the above functions are the only tasks performed. Individuals will perform any other job‑related tasks as directed by management.

QualificationsEducation/
Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer
Skills:
Proficient in using personal computers or mobile devices for applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: A local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk during the shift; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach overhead up to 65 inches; talk and hear; read instructions; stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder; balance; lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); push and pull a fully laden wheeled demonstration cart; use cooking utensils, knives, convection ovens, coffee makers, electric fryers, microwaves;
contact cleaning supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance:
Present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance in accordance with retailer dress code requirements.
Language
Skills:
English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
