The Sr. Director of Dining Services is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day food service operations, managing and leading a team of employees, and managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development.

• Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget, while providing the client with maximum value
• Ensure that the food offered is of superior quality
• Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
• Maintain excellent relationships with guests and clients and other departments within the community
• Promote professional growth and development of the entire team
• Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of additional experience
• Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise
• Two to four years of direct food service operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
• Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable
• Serv Safe® certified a plus
• Must be forward thinking, proactive and the face of the company
