Overview

This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice.
It involves delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members; ensuring quality patient outcomes; showing cultural sensitivity; supporting unit and department goals; and maintaining professional responsibility and accountability for the nurse's own practice.

EducationRequired - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Preferred - Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Work ExperienceRequired - None.
CertificationsRequired - Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred - Certification in clinical specialty area.
