Production Department Leaders (PDLs) ensure operational excellence by empowering teams, delivering key performance indicators (KPIs) for people, quality, safety, service and cost, and driving continuous improvement.

• Oversee the financial health of the production department, creating and maintaining annual budgets.
• Lead the growth and development of Team Leaders and Associates.
• Build a culture that values people, the community, and integrity.
• Partner with Business Unit leadership, bakery leadership and cross‑functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Uphold and promote the E5 Leadership Behaviors.
• Coach Team Leaders toward an empowered, problem‑solving mentality to achieve world‑class standards.
• Operate with a One Team mentality, supporting cross‑department collaboration.
• Set priorities and facilitate problem‑solving processes to deliver schedule and shipment objectives.
• Deliver on KPIs for people, quality, safety, service, and cost.
• Engage and develop core competencies in Team Leaders through performance feedback.
• Achieve safety goals and deliver safety awareness programs.
• Ensure product quality by identifying, prioritizing, and addressing focus issues.
• Manage budgets for capital investments, downtime, and damages.
• Equip Team Leaders to serve sales by analyzing data to ensure efficient production processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 5‑7 years of hands‑on management experience and direct manufacturing experience in the food industry.
• In‑depth knowledge of bakery operations, processing, formulations and equipment.
• Strong technical skills and awareness of safety regulations.

Salary Range: $86,900 - $113,000
