Are you a driven leader passionate about property management and community engagement? Rock Step Capital is seeking an experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead the operations of the Uptown Meridian Mall in Meridian, Mississippi.

Position Overview:

As the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including facility maintenance, vendor management, tenant relations, financial administration, and marketing. You will inspire and lead your team to enhance tenant satisfaction, increase property value, and position the property for future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management:
    Oversee all property maintenance, repairs, and improvements. Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Financial Administration:
    Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor expenses, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Leasing & Negotiations:
    Lead negotiations with tenants, oversee the specialty leasing program and ensure compliance with lease agreements.
  • Tenant Relations:
    Build strong relationships with tenants and address any operational concerns. Monitor tenant compliance with lease agreements and property policies.
  • Marketing & Public Relations:
    Coordinate special events and promotional activities to enhance the property’s visibility and community connections.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and manage staff, ensuring high performance and alignment with Rock Step’s goals.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years in property management or a related field.
  • Skills:
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, ability to problem-solve and lead a team.
  • Personal Attributes:
    Highly motivated with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to driving results.
