Summary :
Operates a tugger to travel through the dry warehouse se l ect in g full case grocery item s.

Hours:

Sunday-Friday (w/ rotating day off each week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the fo llo w in g. Other duties may be assigned.

• Pri or to signing out equip m ent performs operations an d safety check.
• Signs out e quipment by documenting the pre-op e rational checklist.
• Prim arily selects and lo ads orders from pallet onto buggies , then transfers items to lo ading dock.
• Receives customer order from a designated area.
• Enters order task numb ers in the co mput e r system.
• Drives a tu gger w ith three buggies throughout the warehouse.
• Reads the computer label to determine the product to be se lected.
• As it e ms a re se lected, they are label ed and placed on the buggy. This co ntinu es until the order is co mpl e t e .
• Comp leted orders are delivered to the prop e r line a nd loadin g door.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

GSC will provide on-the-job training.

Ability to r ead a limit ed number of two - and t hree
-sy ll able words a nd to r ecognize si milariti es and differences betwe e n words and between series of numb ers. Ab ilit y to print and s p eak si mpl e sentences.

Ab ilit y to add, subtrac t , multiply and divide in a ll units of measure usin g whole number s.

Abi lit y to apply common se n se understanding to can-y out simp l e one- or two-step instructions.

Must be trained and certified on eac h piece of equ ipm ent operated.
