• As a Registered Nurse (RN), the applicant will provide and coordinate patient care, patient education, and patient treatment.
• The RN will provide medical advice and emotional support to patients and their families.
• The position is located in east-central MS, or Lauderdale Co.
  
  - District 6.
• Will be responsible for day-to-day case management of latent TB infection patients as well as patients with TB disease.
• Case Management will manage the patient's care according to providers recommendations.
• Accountable for overseeing more complex or sensitive care, participating as a member of multidisciplinary team providing direct care in a patient care setting, or providing nursing and health services in a public health program.
• May be responsible for mentoring or directing the work of lower-level employees.

• Must have organizational skills, proficient in blood draws, be able to multi-task, problem solving and have great communication skills.
• The RN must be dependable, works well with others, and willing to take directions.
• Employee must prioritize work to meet deadlines and be an effective team player.
• Need to have knowledge of MSDH programs and use that knowledge effectively to assist clients and/or patients as needed.

• Requires state licensure as a Registered Nurse and 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
