Responsibilities
We are seeking a Mental Health Tech to join our team. In the MHT role, you will participate in the development and implementation of patients' treatment plans by providing care and close supervision of facility patients, documenting behavior, developing positive relationships with patients and co‑workers, following facility policies and procedures, implementing treatment plans, and providing crisis intervention as necessary. The MHT acts as a role model by de‑escalating aggression, using active listening skills, maintaining appropriate tone and volume of voice, providing a high frequency and variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining appropriate boundaries, and promoting a positive peer culture.
Located in Meridian, Mississippi, Alliance Health Center is a 154‑bed acute care psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital. The facility offers treatment programs for adults, adolescents, and seniors, including a 60‑bed residential program for adolescents called The Crossings. For over 40 years, Alliance has served individuals with acute mental and behavioral health disorders and addiction issues across Mississippi and Alabama.

Education:
High School Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services, Psychology, preferred not required.
