Hospital Medicine - NP​/PA

260 Beds;
Open ICU; 7-on, 7-off scheduling.

• HM Coverage Model:
  Day: 4 Physicians and 4 NPPAs;
  Night: 1 Physician; 1 NPPA
• Shifts are 10 hours with the exception of the Physician night shift which is 12 hours
• NO PROCEDURES required for HM physicians and NPPAs

• CCU Coverage Model:
  Day: 1 Physician 7a-7p; 1 NPPA 7a-5p;
  Night: 1 NPPA 7p-7a with physician on-call
• CCU Physicians respond to Codes and RRTs
• Procedures required for CCU Physicians:
  Intubation, central lines, arterial lines and chest tubes. Proficiency with therapeutic bronchoscopy preferred but not required.
• Procedures required for CCU NPPAs:
  Intubation, central lines and arterial lines.
• EMR: EPIC
• Employed position with benefits

All Candidates must be BE or BC in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. CCU Candidates must have recent Critical Care and procedural experience.

FNP, ACNP and AGACNP accepted for HM Positions. AGACNP required for CCU Positions.
