Physician Emergency Medicine PT

Ochsner Health is seeking a Part-Time (24 hours a week) Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in Meridian, MS. Position Highlights:

• Schedule will be for Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - 8 hour shifts.
• 24 Bed Emergency Department
• 215-Bed Hospital with closed 23 bed ICU and multi specialists within the system
• 20 hours of MD coverage & 28 Hours NP Coverage.
• Level 3 Trauma Center
• Unique Patient Flow Center through Ochsner to provide 24 hour support and help with patient transfers
• Bedside Ultrasound machine available and tech in-house 24/7
• Hospitalist run codes, not the ED
• Emergency Medicine Director on staff to provide mentorship and support.
• Teaching opportunities with residents rotating through Ochsner Rush at EC Healthnet.
