Welding Supervisor

Seeking a Welding Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Meridian, MS.

Pay is between $30 - $35 per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to lead field crews on multifaceted construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, hands‑on technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish while maintaining safety, quality, and budgetary standards.

• Lead, supervise, and mentor field crews on construction projects within correctional facilities.
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, timelines, and resources.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Perform hands‑on tasks as needed, including welding and the use of hand tools such as grinders.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot site issues and provide timely solutions to keep projects on track.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation.

• 5+ years of experience supervising field crews on complex or multifaceted construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to direct and motivate teams.
• Proven experience managing project budgets and timelines.
• Proficiency in welding and use of common construction tools (e.g., grinders).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to travel to job sites as required.
