Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No Weekends
Gem State Diesel is looking for a highly skilled, quality-driven Diesel Pickup Technician to join our growing team. We specialize exclusively in Ford, GMC/Chevrolet, and Dodge/Ram diesel pickups — no semis, no heavy equipment, no weekends. - 3-5 years of diesel technician experience (GM/Chrysler/Ford pickup experience strongly preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record (mandatory)
- ASE and/or factory certifications (a big plus)
- Strong diagnostic skills, especially drivability and electrical
Comfortable with digital inspections, tablets, and scan tools - Known for professionalism, integrity, and reliability
- Own professional-grade tools
- Team-oriented with solid communication skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Diagnosing and repairing:
- Heating and air conditioning systems
- Electrical and drivability issues
- Brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
- Diesel engines and related components
- Performing detailed digital vehicle inspections with clear photos and notes
- Communicating repair needs clearly with teammates and management
- Keeping your bay clean, safe, and organized
- Staying current through training and continuous improvement
