Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No Weekends

Gem State Diesel is looking for a highly skilled, quality-driven Diesel Pickup Technician to join our growing team. We specialize exclusively in Ford, GMC/Chevrolet, and Dodge/Ram diesel pickups — no semis, no heavy equipment, no weekends. What We’re Looking For
  • 3-5 years of diesel technician experience (GM/Chrysler/Ford pickup experience strongly preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year driving record (mandatory)
  • ASE and/or factory certifications (a big plus)
  • Strong diagnostic skills, especially drivability and electrical

    Comfortable with digital inspections, tablets, and scan tools
  • Known for professionalism, integrity, and reliability
  • Own professional-grade tools
  • Team-oriented with solid communication skills
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Diagnosing and repairing:
    • Heating and air conditioning systems
    • Electrical and drivability issues
    • Brake, suspension, and drivetrain systems
    • Diesel engines and related components
  • Performing detailed digital vehicle inspections with clear photos and notes
  • Communicating repair needs clearly with teammates and management
  • Keeping your bay clean, safe, and organized
  • Staying current through training and continuous improvement
