Adam Roe Painting is seeking a motivated and results‑driven Sales Manager to lead residential and light commercial painting sales throughout the Boise, Idaho area. This role combines hands‑on sales responsibilities with sales leadership, overseeing the sales process from initial consultation to project close while supporting the development of a structured and scalable sales system.

The ideal candidate is comfortable conducting in‑home consultations, preparing estimates, and closing deals while maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and supporting the growth of other sales team members. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in‑home consultations with homeowners to assess residential painting projects.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and professional proposals for painting services.
  • Close projects by securing signed agreements and project deposits.
  • Manage residential and light commercial sales opportunities from lead to close.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track the sales pipeline.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to improve close rates.
  • Ensure estimates meet company pricing guidelines and margin standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support successful project execution.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, forecasting, and performance reviews.
  • Support and mentor developing sales representatives when needed.
  • Monitor performance metrics to maintain sales system efficiency and profitability.
Qualifications
  • Strong sales ability with confidence closing deals and negotiating agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills with homeowners, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools for pipeline tracking.
  • Consistent follow‑up habits and attention to detail in estimates and proposals.
  • Accountability for performance metrics and sales results.
  • Interest in mentoring and supporting developing sales team members.
  • Experience in construction, home services, estimating, or related industries is helpful but not required.
Compensation Structure

Performance‑driven compensation plan with strong earning potential.

  • $30,000 per year
  • 4 % on the first $250,000 in closed sales
  • 5 % on $250,001 – $500,000
  • 6 % on $500,001 – $750,000
  • 7 % on $750,000+
  • Commission is calculated on a blended tier basis and paid monthly.
Quarterly Leadership Bonus
  • $1,000 bonus when team performance benchmarks are achieved
Expected Earnings
  • Ramp Year: $60,000 – $75,000
  • Solid Performer: $75,000 – $95,000
  • High Performer: $95,000+
Performance Standards
  • Minimum 50 % gross margin on projects
  • 95 % estimating accuracy
  • CRM compliance and accurate pipeline tracking
  • Consistent prospect follow‑up
