Schedule: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period). Exempt full time leadership position Monday‑Friday.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily OR operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow efficiency. Position will have about 20 direct reports
- Serve as a clinical resource and support staff education, competency, and onboarding.
- Promote safe patient care practices and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and service line support.
- Provide leadership coverage, staff coaching, and help foster a positive team environment.
The Meridian unit provides ortho, urology, general, OB/GYN, ENT, optics, plastics services (everything but head and vascular). They also have a call team on staff, so call is very minimal for staff positions. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
Job Description Qualifications- Education:
BSN - Experience:
3 years nursing experience in Surgical Services
- Operating room required - RN charge/lead and or leadership experience is highly preferred
- CNOR preferred
- Licenses/Certifications:
BLS, ACLS and RN license required
