• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract

• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts (varied start times, 3 shifts/week)

36 hours per week guaranteed

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1800

• Unit Size: 45-bed ER (trauma, cardiac, psych, rapid assessment areas)

Epic EMR

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state

• BSN required

• Minimum 2.5 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience in a large urban hospital

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC (all required)

• Strong trauma nursing experience preferred

• Proficient in cardiac monitor interpretation and rapid patient assessments

• Ability to work a mix of evening shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Meridian, Idaho

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in a busy ER setting

• Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5, including high acuity ESI level I cases

• Administer and monitor common emergency drips (Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepi, Nitro, Versed, Precedex)

• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, CNAs, and ER staff to optimize patient outcomes

• Participate in rapid assessment and vertical care models

• Document patient care using Epic EMR

• Support trauma, STEMI, and stroke protocols as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

• Float to nearby emergency departments (Boise or Nampa Medical Centers) as needed

• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to facility dress code
