As a Registered Nurse (RN) at FMI, you will play an essential role in managing individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' health through the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. You will be responsible for delivering quality care, creating a safe patient environment, and ensuring effective patient education. The RN reports to the clinical lead for the assigned department.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate, complete health care records and reports
- Track and maintain medical supply inventory
- Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions
- Create and contribute to patients’ medical records as needed
- Educate patients about treatment plans
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Assess patient health and detect changes in symptoms, taking appropriate action when necessary
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patient needs
- Administer nutritional IV therapy following provider orders
- Communicate with patients regarding their plan of care, pre/post-care, and the appointment process
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Active applicable state licensure
- 2+ years of nursing experience preferred
- IV catheter placement and infusion monitoring
- Pellet experience (or willingness to learn/perform pellet procedures) preferred
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with patients and team members
- High emotional intelligence and passion for functional medicine
- Confident, self-directed, and committed to continuous learning
- Proficient in EMR systems and computer literacy
- Experience and familiarity with Functional Medicine
