Become part of a physician led 650+ provider multispecialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Our Sleep Medicine practice consists of 6 physicians, 6 APP’s, and 1 Psychologist. This full spectrum practice serves adults and pediatrics in Boise, Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell, Idaho, along with locations in Ontario and Baker City, Oregon. Outreach opportunities available. With the increasing demand for sleep services, our program continues to develop a regional approach within the Saint Alphonsus Health System.
The qualified Advanced Practice Provider will show evidence of comprehensive assessment skills, expert clinical skills and problem-solving abilities and commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following: conduct follow-up evaluations for patients referred for Sleep consultation; follow-through on physician's plan of care; order & interpret appropriate diagnostic testing and labs;
prescribe appropriate treatment and conduct patient education; aid in clinic phone triage and referral triage; assist in prescription refills and general clinic coverage when other providers are not in clinic.
- Successful completion of NP or PA Graduate Program (Masters Level)
- AANP or ANCC certification for Nurse Practitioners
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
- Ability to obtain:
Idaho and Oregon medical licensure, and valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho and Oregon Board of Pharmacy and DEA - 2 years’ experience as a Sleep Medicine Provider preferred, not required
