Schedule

Schedule:

0.75 FTE (60 hours per pay period) with 3 x 10-hour shifts per week (varied days) and start time ranging from 07:30 to 18:00 on Monday through Friday. No call, no weekends, or holidays, but late call could be required based on the surgery schedule.

Unit Details

St. Luke’s Meridian Surgery Center is located in the Treasure Valley area of Idaho. We have two operating rooms, 10 Preop Bays and 6 Recovery Bays, specializing in general surgery and urology for ASA 1, ASA 2, and some ASA 3 patients. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 06:00 to 18:00, which provides three-day weekends with no call. The surgery center is consistently recognized for compassionate care, excellent service, and friendly, professional staff.

Position

Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on the patient’s needs.

Job Description Qualifications
  • Education:

    Nursing degree (BSN or ADN)
  • Experience:

    1+ years RN experience in critical care; PACU/Pre-Op is required for this position
  • Licenses/Certifications:

    Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
