- Follows established guidelines for grooming, uniform, and operating policies and procedures outlined in the General Handbook and Department SOPs and maintains those guidelines throughout the shift.
- Provides basic medical care for staff members and directs lifeguards or other staff members as necessary during medical incidents.
- Interacts with Ada County Paramedics and Meridian Fire Department as necessary during incidents on park property.
- Performs job functions within all policies and procedures as noted in the General Handbook and Department SOPs.
- Ensures proper use of all safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
- Communicates with Operations Manager regarding daily operations in the department.
- Performs other duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work inside and outside with constant sitting, standing, walking, vision, hearing, talking and fine motor skills.
- Must be able to reach forward and above shoulder height, bending, twisting, kneeling, and crouching.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull a maximum of 25 pounds and sometimes up to 50 pounds with the aid of other team members.
- Must be able to climb.
- The primary work location will include the outdoors and sometimes office.
- In these environments the employee will be exposed to dirt and dust, extreme temperatures, noise and vibration, and occasional wetness and humidity.
- The employee has the potential for exposure to bodily fluids during medical treatment. Personal Protective Equipment is provided and required.
