We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and highly reliable caregiver to support a 90-year-old widowed woman in Meridian,  the loss of her husband, the client is experiencing significant loneliness and feels overwhelmed managing day-to-day responsibilities and important legal and financial matters. This role is well-suited for someone who is empathetic, organized, and comfortable providing both emotional support and practical assistance.

Client Overview

• 90-year-old female, widowed
• Experiencing loneliness and emotional distress
• Difficulty with paperwork, decision-making, and follow-through
• Hesitant and distrustful of outside help; requires a gentle, trust-building approach

Care Responsibilities

• Hands-on assistance with paperwork and organization
• Support with daily living tasks such as grocery shopping and transportation
• Guidance and support when reviewing legal and financial service options (e.g., guardianship, senior case management services)
• Provide companionship, emotional reassurance, and encouragement
• Coordinate alongside referred support services (e.g., Catholic Charities for counseling support)

Caregiver Qualities Preferred

• Patient, trustworthy, and emotionally supportive
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable assisting with paperwork and accompanying clients to appointments
• Ability to build rapport with a client who is cautious about accepting help
