Roaming Teller I - Treasure Valley role at Financial Educators Federal Credit Union

Promotes member financial well-being through engaging members in meaningful conversations to resolve financial inquiries, enrich the member experience and deepen the relationship with the Credit Union. This position processes transactions, handles cash, provides account maintenance and/or troubleshooting, and educates members on Credit Union products and services. The purpose of the Roaming Teller is to cover for Tellers at other Branches that are absent from work.

The Roaming Teller will work out of their home branch and travel to other branches as needed, furnishing their own transportation to the assigned location.

$18.30 per hour.

• Assists members, guest members, and potential members with their account inquiries, performs cash and non-cash transactions, and provides account maintenance while actively listening to members’ needs to provide value‑added solutions.
• Resolves member inquiries with a focus on the Brand Promise while adhering to company policies, researching and exploring potential solutions, and following escalation processes to direct members to the appropriate team member as needed.
• Balances cash, checks, and conducts daily transactions with minimal errors.
• Maintains knowledge of all credit union products, services, and promotions.
• Contributes to efficient Credit Union operations by performing other job‑related duties as assigned.
