- Conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines.
- Material procurement and construction support through line energization.
- Develop design calculations, detail drawings, specifications, and other construction documents under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Create project scope documents, finite element models using PLS-CADD, and engineering drawings for structures and foundations.
- Develop loading, framing, foundation, and plan‑and‑profile drawing sets.
- Produce staking sheets, sag charts, and other construction exhibits.
- Produce material and construction specifications.
- Assist with client and stakeholder coordination, training and mentoring of design staff, project quality assurance, and oversight of designers, drafters, and support personnel.
- Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- 2+ years of design engineering experience or project engineering experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization, planning, and team‑work skills.
- Commitment to quality and accuracy with fast‑paced project schedules.
- PE license preferred, or commitment to obtain one.
- Knowledge of transmission engineering principals, applicable codes, standards, and design tools.
- Basic project management skills and ability to oversee design personnel preferred.
- Subject to client‑mandated drug and background checks.
- Occasional travel required; must meet ECI auto insurance carrier requirements.
- Must not require visa sponsorship (e.g., H‑1B).
