Overview
We are seeking Bank Tellers/Customer Service Representatives for the Boise, . Tellers/Customer Service Representatives are responsible for accurately keeping records of cash currency and negotiable instruments, handling money transactions (receiving/paying out) and meeting the varying needs of our clients by providing exceptional service. The role will be trained at the Sandpoint branch and then permanently assigned to a branch in either Meridian, Nampa, or Boise, and reliable attendance is essential.
This is a full-time position (37 hrs/wk) with specified shift availability.

- Receive checking and savings deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
- Examine checks deposited and determine funds availability based on regulations; complete hold notices.
- Process savings withdrawals; cash checks with proper endorsement and .
- Identify counterfeit currency.
- Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and privacy policies.
- Cross-sell bank products and services and refer customers to the proper department when needed.
- Count and roll loose coins; issue personal money orders and cashier’s checks; process U.S. Savings Bonds and Travelers Checks sales.
- Accept loan payments; verify payment amounts and issue receipts.
- Buy and sell currency from the vault, maintaining teller drawer cash limits.
- Ensure teller station is properly supplied and follow procedures for removing dormant accounts.
- Balance drawer daily; process cash advances and redeem U.S. Savings Bonds.
- Maintain currency logs and follow all bank policies and procedures; complete other tasks as needed per policy.
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, OFAC).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of prior customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent technology acuity and computer systems knowledge.
- Ability to efficiently use multiple computer programs and systems simultaneously.
- Jack Henry experience.
- 6 months of prior cash handling experience.
- Previous knowledge of MWB products and services.

Must be able to perform work indoors in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise. Typical duties require sitting, repetitive hand movements, speaking and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to light weights. Ability to operate standard office equipment and work 6–8 hours at a computer daily as needed. Extended hours or travel may be required. Regular, reliable attendance is expected.
Emergency situations may require stair climbing.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Starting salary is dependent on experience and location.
