In‑OfficeThis is a 100% in‑office role based at our Meridian, . Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on‑site five days per week during designated work hours.
Position OverviewThis role focuses on assisting new clients in transitioning to Paylocity as their payroll and human resources provider. The ideal candidate has customer service experience and technical skills to help new clients move to our platform. The role is responsible for supporting client implementations with a strong focus on data migration, validation, and test payroll execution. It involves collaborating closely with Sales, Data Conversion, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes and identify opportunities for additional services.
The consultant plays a key role in onboarding client data, driving projects to completion, and ensuring go‑live dates are met.

- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of Payroll experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation, and analysis)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Demonstrate organizational and time‑management abilities
- Excellent decision‑making, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail
- A solid understanding of payroll compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to sit for extended periods – typically 7–8 hours a day at a desk or workstation
- Use of computer and phone systems – the employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type, including multiple software programs simultaneously

The pay for this position is $22–$24 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits. Base pay information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed.
