Accountant, Tax Accountant, Financial Reporting

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Bookkeeping team and Owner with payroll and financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and IRS tax reporting.

This role requires the individual to assist with online and desktop Quickbooks software, download and transaction updates, and client reporting. An understanding of small business cash and accrual accounting and tax support is a must

The Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting our client's tax and financial health and operations of their organization.

• Prepare and maintain client's accurate payroll, financial statements & reporting.
• Process payroll through ADP and Excel and ensure timely payment to Owner and their employees.
• Manage client Quickbooks journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for client and management review.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting, tax or finance roles in small business accounting.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Quickbooks Online & Desktop software
• Familiarity with accounting principles and Tax reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client’s financial reports.
• Ability to work as a team member with others in the business.
