Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Human Edge Travel Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Meriden, Connecticut.

The Travel PCU RN provides care for patients in a step-down/progressive care setting, ensuring safe and effective nursing care. The RN may float to ICU as needed, depending on skills and manager assessment.

• 2+ years of Step-down or Progressive Care Unit experience preferred
• Epic experience strongly preferred
• NIHSS certification (1‑year certification accepted)
• Ability to float to Critical Care/ICU if required

• Provide patient care according to established protocols in a PCU/Step-down unit
• Monitor and assess patients, implementing appropriate interventions
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
• Float to ICU if assigned; rate will be determined based on whether ICU float is required
