The Senior Director, Operations will lead and scale multi-site operations in support of growth across regulated life-science markets.
This role carries full accountability for operational performance across manufacturing, production, supply chain, and warehousing, with a mandate to strengthen execution, modernize operating systems, and build a high-performing leadership bench. This is a hands‑on, enterprise-level role requiring both strategic judgment and operational rigor. The successful candidate will operate as a core business leader, partnering closely with Commercial, Quality, Finance, and the broader Caldic organization.
- Own end-to-end operational performance across manufacturing, production, supply chain, and warehousing, delivering results across safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity.
- Lead multi-site operations with accountability for execution, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional alignment.
- Establish and govern robust operating rhythms, including KPIs, tiered management, and S&OP.
- Translate business strategy into executable operational initiatives with clear objectives, timelines, and metrics.
- Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing operations leadership team; drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Partner closely with Commercial to ensure customer requirements, demand signals, and growth plans are effectively supported by operations.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across Caldic business units and functions to leverage scale, share best practices, and deliver consistent service.
- Utilize ERP and data systems to drive visibility, accountability, and informed decision‑making.
- Provide input and leadership on capital investments, footprint optimization, and operational scalability as the business evolves.
- Enterprise mindset with the ability to balance near‑term execution and long‑term capability building.

- Bachelors Degree in Business, Chemistry, Biology, or relevant degree, Masters degree preferred
- 15+ years experience leading teams in complex, multi‑site manufacturing, and/or distribution operations.
- Experience leading teams in a cGMP environment preferred
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Proven ability to operate effectively in matrix organizations
- Strong business acumen with experience translating strategy into execution
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
- Travel as required (~15%)
